Lately, I’m on a reconstruction binge. Hacking and slashing at old clothes to make new is immensely satisfying, if only because it gives me free reign with the scissors. Take this one, made with the assistance of this Threadbanger tutorial:
Before, three thrift store shirts. Total price: maybe $3.50, probably less- it was a while ago.
And after! I dropped the level of the waist and added a waistband to match the cowl neck, in comparison to the tutorial. So how about some detail shots?
One thing about this dress form, it makes getting pictures much easier. And, y’know, sewing things which fit much easier. I love it, though I’m very tempted to bust out some spray paint and make it bright purple or something.
