Chronicle Books Haul-idays
They’re also having a little contest: bloggers who post a list of books they’d like, up to $500, win said books.
Crafty books haul? Count me in.
I have been a Sublime Stitching/Jenny Hart fan for ages (it was her work, in fact, that introduced me to embroidery), and would love to get my hands on her books, including Sublime Stitching and Embroidered Effects. That’s $44.90 out of the total.
Along the same line, the only cross stitch I’ve ever done was one of Julie Jackson’s. Her book, Subversive Cross stitch, might just inspire me further. That’s $44.90 + $14.95 = $59.85
On the business side of craft, Craft Inc is a fantastic guide to that weird, alien zone some of us creative types approach called “business” -I read it as a library book, but would love to have it around as a reference. Chronicle also has a Craft Inc Business Planner to go with it! We’re up to $93.75.
There’s Handmade Nation…
and even a book which seems apt for me, titled World of Geekcraft.
There are tons of books for crafts I’ve never tried, but am interested in, such as:
and Applique Your Way (okay, so I’ve done applique before… but not much).
What about Zombies?
I would have so many reviews to write!
Funny thing is, all that only brings us up to around $300. That’s okay, though, because I would fill the rest of the haul with duplicates of my favorites (first $200 of craft books, I’m looking at you) to give away here, to all you wonderful readers. And even better? If I win, one commenter on this post will ALSO win the entire haul!
So hey, fingers crossed. This haul could be for all of us.
